To me 1900 x 1200 over 55" or 600 x 400 over 4.5" is not as sharp as 800 x 600 over 3.5". You need to calculate based on resolution by screen size. So I used PPI to level the field.
I think I phrased my argument wrong, or I am totally out to lunch on how to equally measure the sharpness of two different sized displays.
