I also tried to get into the most recent one with Scott Bakula. I thought it had potential, but the stories were so boring. Voyager? Don't even mention that crap.

Man I hated Voyager because every solution required the invention of a whole new technology on the fly that would just fix everything.
Torres - "Captain, the enemies shields are impervious to any form of energy weapon, they are immortal and have 20" c$$ks and a fetish for Klingon r$pe fantasies"
Janeway, lounging in her chair eating grapes and looking bored - "Lets create a double inverse tachyon pulse, that we would deflect off of that planets atmosphere and hit the weak spot in their rear shields that we all know is there for plot puposes, and then we'll mix in a blast of dark matter created inverse gamma radiation. We should be able to cripple their engines, give them cancer which should take care of their immortality thing, and we can capture a couple of them for you Torres.
How long will it take for you to create this new theoretical technology and gather the components and put them together?"
Beep boop , slide
Torres - "Its ready now Captain"
Janeway - "About time . . . fire"
