Overall I think that this game is a big improvement over last years in terms of game play (just started playing yesterday, Be A Pro defenseman)

While it takes a lot longer to get through a game, even with the shift sim, the game play is a lot more enjoyable. Players try to jump into the open gaps when I have the puck, or head to the front of the net. The goalies especially at the junior level are quite so supermanish, and the strategy of shooting low and looking for rebounds actually works really well.

The hits look better, the puck behaves more realistically, and overall we don't have things like the 40 LW to LD passing back and forth, or the same circling plays in the neutral zone.

The hitting once you get a handle on it is just flat out better, and now you can really take yourself badly out of the play.

I like the BAP feature that makes you play a whole junior season and work towards your draft position, and there's nothing better then murdering RNH when he steps over the blueline, I've put him through the glass twice.

Some of the smaller annoyances, its great that you can clobber the goaltender, but you tend to get hooked up on him, and when you push your way free you get this great visual of him going 30 feet in the air and spiraling to the ground.

The tasks tend to be impossible, things like not allowing a goal in the first ten minutes, is silly because as soon as you step off of the ice, the opposition seems to score.

The play the point on the powerplay doesn't work if your not assigned to the powerplay.

Other then that, the game just seems more fun then the last few years.
