How old is your belt?
I have one belt I wear pretty much every day. I've had it for about 20 years or so. It looks pretty worn but it works great.
The thing is I've probably bought about 50 other belts in that time and they just fall apart right away. I've spent little $ and lots $$$ on belts and different brands and they all do the same. I always go back to my good old 20 year old belt.
I have a few now I only wear when I dress up but otherwise it is the same one every day.
I blame it on, they just don't make things like they used to.
