DUI's could potentially not be considered a CIMT, however the fact that he broke the law while doing it (as dumb as it sounds, he
was doing an illegal turn while drunk), it'd be relatively easy to establish a CIMT argument in the OP's case.
Why risk it? Get a lawyer.
