Considering the welds on the roof panels aren't finished I would be pretty stunned if it didn't leak, and I'm not at all surprised that those welds aren't done. That would naturally be a task completed near the end of the project, it's non essential to the actual functioning of the stadium, poses no safety threat and doesn't impact on the ability to allow a full crowd to enter.
Look at that, a similar issue at Cowboys stadium was addressed after the stadium had been open: "According to Birdair, the reheating and re-welding of the seams is part of the stadium's final "punch list" — a list of "minor" issues that need to be addressed. A Birdair spokesman told News 8 that the issues are typical in large projects like this."
But hey, what would those guys know about what's typical in this type of project, they're only experts on it.
