You're right - I did misunderstand. I did not get that the 17 would then become a Renfrew/Crescent heights only route, still traveling through the downtown in it's entirety? That would be acceptable, provided it maintains the same level of service that it currently has.
I would worry, however, that due to the fact it is now a one-community only service, that it would have fewer busses dedicated to it. I sincerely hope not.
