If the route changes, and I am now dropped off in the east, it makes taking transit practically useless. I would be forced to look at parking options, and I moved to the location I did in order to avoid that kind of bull.
Not only that, but the route actually creates a great sense of community that I haven't experienced anywhere else. I have met most of the friends I have in the neighbourhood waiting at the bus stop, and all but one get off further down the line than 4 st east. Unless Calgary transit makes the route seperate from the one that goes down the beltline, it would ruin everything.
I understand where you are coming from. The beltline needs better routes. I support that wholeheartedly - I used to live in the beltline. But whatever you do, please don't mess up our neighbourhood to make minor changes to yours. It doesn't have to be an either/or situation. But if it does become one, I will not let it go.

No I think you misunderstand. Those options in the survey end at 1st Street. What is not shown is that the route would continue to 5th Street West, south on 5th to 12th Avenue, east on 12th for a block, then back north on 4th Street West to make its way through downtown and back to the northeast.
