^^ the hit on Gale? That seemed hastened and not very well conceived. Granted the whole incident could be Gus's demise. I agree though, Walt is nothing like the genius he once was. He has become overly paranoid, maybe justifiable given the business he is in, and the fact that people are, and have tried to kill him in the past. I think his overthinking his role in the whole scheme of things is his problem. He is just the meth chemist, and everybody else can function within their own roles without delusions of grandeur or causing the desire in others to kill them.
