Sure the Lions played the Chiefs, but you don't control your schedule. The Lions did go into Tampa and beat a decent Bucs team. They then went out and did what they were supposed to; blow the Chiefs out of the park. What more would you want to see?

I know a lot of people expect the Lions to become the same old Lions at some point in the year, and it may still happen, I'm not naive. They'll probably have to get some divisional wins under their collective belt before many people begin to believe they're for real.
Lions aren't overrated at all. If Stafford is healthy they are a playoff team, if he's not they aren't. It's that simple. Nick Fairley hasn't even played yet. They are a force and might even be a contender.
