You know, I wouldn't be too suprised to find out that this move wasn't Paul Martin's idea.

A few days after Martin takes flack for a Liberal party supporter saying people should vote for the Bloc instead of the conservatives, and a Liberal candidate comes out and says people should vote for the conservatives instead of the Bloc?

Maybe it's a little far fetched, but why not conceed a riding where the Bloc is bound to paste the Libs and Cons so save a little face.

Is it a good thing for the Libs? Probalby not, but who knows. I'm sure they'd be willing to try a lot of different things right now.
