It's no secret that the Bear's defense is their strong point, but they dont score points. They were actually only ranked around 9th or 10th last season and one of the worst defenses against the pass.
By your arguement, the Bears should have been in the playoffs every season as they have routinely had a top end defense every season, yet Orton couldn't do it and Grossman only really showed up once in the playoffs.

Fair enough but all i a saying is there is so much that goes into a teams success. i get tired of hearing how a guy like Dan Marino isnt a winner because he hasnt won a superbowl.. Cutler is at least to me a middle of the pack QB with talent but i am not sure he has the intangibles. i do believe a team like the bears would be better off with Orton and the draft picks they gave up. not sure what your thoughts are, but Cutler isnt even close to a player like Aaron Rodgers...
