There are far too many people just scraping by to hold onto their season's tickets that it seems like no trouble to get to a good number of games in the location of one's desire. Just look at buy/sell, it's littered with people looking to offset the cost of their ST by selling off portions of their tickets. There's also a crap load of people selling their press level 'while you wait seats.' I think unless the Flames make the playoffs, it won't be long before people like us get our tickets.

I believe I've chimed in on this topic before but the whole STH system is set up to screw people like you. Maybe not set up intentionally to screw you but it does.

I can be put on a payment plan with the Flames for minimal cost. Then I can turn around and sell 30 of my 45 games (which I did) and basically have tickets to some of the choicest games available. And people like you end up keeping me in business because you can't get season tickets of your own. It creates a vicious cycle. You can buy games from STH's, which is 10x better than ticketmaster, and you end up keeping yourself from getting tickets because those STH's can afford them because they sell to guys like you.

To my credit I don't sell only crappy games, I always keep a good mix for myself, and I always give price breaks to people who make large purchases.

I'd love to be able to attend more games but I just can't. In the past it was a money issue because I was a student. Now it is a time issue. Who wants to go to a game until 930/10am, get home at 1030 or 11pm and then wake up the next morning at 6am? I'm used to going to bed at like 930pm. But I digress...
