The Chiefs look bad everywhere and there is nothing that can be done to salvage the season. 0-16 looks like a very real possibility, or 0-20 like somebody else pointed out.

I really hope that Clark Hunt has the guts to wipe the slate clean and to start over. The regulars on this thread know my thoughts on Pioli, Haley, and Matt Cassel over the last few seasons. Its pretty evident now that Pioli was nothing more than a pal / relative hired by Belichek to get coffee or make nice spreadsheets for the Patriots. Haley was the flavor of the month when the Cards went to the Super Bowl. Cassel, who I'm sure is trying his best but just doesn't have the talent, was sheltered by BB and a talented Patriots roster.

The Hunt family is famous for not being meddlers when it comes to their Chiefs. Lamar allowed his great franchise to be run into the ground in the 70's only to be salvaged almost 20 years later by Carl Peterson. Then he let Carl have too much authority and power and watched the team slip into mediocrity again 20 years later. The one thing Clark Hunt said he desired when he took over the reins after the passing of his father, was for the Chiefs to have a young franchise QB. Something the Chiefs had never had in their history. Scott Pioli saddled him with Matt Cassel, poor Clark.

Pioli is obviously way over his head. Its time for Mr. Hunt to find a real GM who can make the proper decisions to lead this once proud franchise forward.

we have NFL scouts stay at my hotel and one of them was a chiefs until last year. He said that Haley isn't well liked, nor do they listen to the scouts. (baldwin pick) they need to start all over from the beginning next year.
