I disagree. This is really his second year fulltime as a starter in the rotation. If Seattle had not screwed up on him-instead of grooming and developing him, they quietly dismissed him partly due to his diabetes. Brandon has huge potential and has shown it esp vs Tampa Bay Rays (4th top pitching performance since 1920 with a score of 100 rating). Last years winning record on the road as a first time regular starter was impressive. This year is his second year fulltime-given his inexperience, he is bound to get blow ups esp when teams have adjusted to him after seeing him for a year. Now Morrow has to adjust to hitters who have already adjusted to him...
Morrow not only throws hard (95-97) but he locates well with late movement with 4-5 primary pitches. He will improve over the next year and he will be dominant consistently. The Jays have tons of depth in all positions and Morrow will be there.
