LOL pretty balsy for a Chiefs fan to bring up history. When's the last time the Chiefs were in a Superbowl? At least the Raiders got to the dance last decade.
In regards to the Broncos, McDaniels did more damage in two years than Davis has ever done to the Raiders as every trade and draft pick he's made has been a miss. He inherited a team with some decent talent on offense and promptly traded their franchise QB and receiver and don't forget the Hillis trade lol. They have nothing to show for his drafts either. The Broncos are horrible and to boot they have the whole Tebow debate thing making things even worse for a rebuilding team as the fans want him but the coaches and players don't because he sucks. He's never going to be more than a backup or spot duty QB in the NFL. If he's the future for the Broncose so is the AFC West basement.
As for the Chiefs I suggest you look back at Haley's first season (4-12) and this season is likely looking like a 3-5 win season which would give him 2 out of 3 losing seasons as head coach which isn't much of an upgrade over Edwards. Chiefs aren't much different from the Raiders in that they have a lot of young skill and medocre starting QB's but at least Campbell makes $10 million less than Cassell. With Moeaki and Berry done for the season the Chiefs are likely done also which may not be a bad thing as Haley's an idiot and the sooner they get rid of him the better as the Chiefs won't be able to count on a historically easy schedule every year like last year.
I don't live on a rock and know fully the only fans in the AFC west that can brag about anything are Chargers fans and even they are disappointed annually. The only thing that keeps the AFC West as the embaressment of the league is the NFC West because lets face it, all of our teams have had a rough last decade. As a Raiders fan I can say with confidence that the Raiders are the 2nd best team in the AFC West and own every other team winning 8 straight games against AFC West opponents. The big question of course is can they beat teams outside of the AFC West? Looking at their schedule I'd be happy with another 8-8 season which would be good enough for 2nd place.
