Well, got to the concert and was encouraged to see a mix of people younger and older than me. Didn't feel too old. Perl Jam's members are all older thn me, so I wasn't feeling too bad. Saw Edge (now retired wrestler) there, figured, that dude is my age (he's 3+ years older in fact), plus he's retired. Still not feeling too old. Good, good.
Got floor seats, was happy that there were actual seats so nobody would be slamming around....oh that's an old person thought. By the first set break, my feet hurt and my left knee (football injury) felt like it was going to give out. Yup, feeling older. By the end of the show and walking back to my car my legs took a while to stop hurting. Yup getting old. Got home at 1:00 and then had to slep in until 8:00...going to bed a t 3:00 and getting up for work early, still drunk, used to be an easy chore. Last night I had 5 beers over about 8 hours and drove to and from a concert...I must be old, I never drove to concerts.
Walking from my car to my office this morning and my feet were crying. I feel old.
Man, I feel old.
