When she was in youth remand, my friend was her councillor for a bit. She told me that she was about as normal a preteen as you could find. She would sit in her cell drawing pictures and talk about fashion, hair and other girly things. Other then the fact that she helped BUTCHER HER FAMILY, she seemed like a normal girl my friend said.

Having said that, I guess this is one situation where a criminal seems to honestly want to rehabilitate herself. Sure it sucks that the taxpayers are footing the bill for her schooling. But I can guarantee that after this article was released today clearly stating she attends Mt. Royal, that after a quick google search the students there are WELL aware of exactly who she is. I would be incredibly surprised if she makes it past her first semester. She is going to be heckled beyond belief at that school. Media ban or not, EVERYONE is going to know who she is and what she did.

It's kind of sad that even though she is clearly trying to rehabilitate herself, she is forever going to be known as the girl who murdered her family. And I can't say that I feel bad for her. A 12 year old knows its wrong to kill. They might not understand the consequences of their actions at the time they did it, but they know it's wrong. If she is destined for a life of hardship and being shunned everywhere she goes, then so be it. That is the consequence of her choices.

Everytime someone says to 'leave her alone' or 'she was on 12 at the time', I want them to think about how she murdered her own brother with her own 2 hands and how 3 normal people were laid to rest in their graves. My friend who was her councillor told me this. Apparently lots of the staff their felt incredibly bad for her, but they had to be constantly reminded everyday what she did.

I need therapy for your damn avatar, every day I am reminded at how nasty it is.
