So thought I'd post this here incase anyone goes through the same thing.

Just got the hard copy of the game today (had the EA Season Ticket, so I had th e downloaded one for 3 days.)

Go to play an EASHL game with CP, get the disc unable to be read error.

Installed the game to my HDD, same error when trying to join a game.

So I went in and cleared out all my pre-release data (in the System menu of 360 dashboard.. but note, the game had already copied this info to the new hard copy game, if that makes sense.)

Anyway, I deleted all the old content and then cleared the cache and now it all works.

Not sure if anyone else will get it, but that worked for me.
