The problem is that station names also serve a navigation and wayfinding purpose. There's dozens of ATB locations in Calgary, so including it in the name of, say, Crowfoot Station creates unnecessary confusion. There's only one Saddledome, and one Talisman Centre, but lots and lots of LRT stations. Calling one the A&W station when there may be a few others that are close to A&Ws can become problematic. Also, if these things will be changing every couple or three years, it can become especially confusing for infrequent users and tourists.

Also, as YNAT brought up, we're talking about less than a percent of current annual revenues that this would bring in.
