And it has nothing to do with rationalizing an irrational act. It has to do with comments like "well when you're dealing with that kind of addict".
There is no business talking about smokers like that. It is laughable. I have personally seen people empty their bank account and sell their truck for an 8ball. People have done many illegal things to get hard drugs, including murder, prostitution, violence etc.
I have never heard of someone killing a Macs employee because they couldn't afford smokes.

well hang on thar fella. Make cigarettes illegal and see how people react. Right now the big diff is that a cigarette addict can walk to the local corner store and buy his fix...a heroin addict cant do that, hence the extremes. Would it be the same? I dunno, but Ill bet ya that there would be quite a few smokers who would take a similar step.
