Maybe ask your doctor(s) what s/he thinks about this treatment. I've been doing physiotherapy for a while now, and have had some success strengthening my core, which has helped my posture, helped my balance, and I don't walk like a complete cripple now. In theory, strengthening my core muscles is also going to prevent my spine from curving as fast as it was a few years after a L1 burst compression fracture. It has taken a long time, and I was very skeptical at first, but physio has helped a lot.

I've never heard of prolotherapy before now, but a quick glance at the wiki has me thinking that it's expensive. Does insurance cover this sort of thing?

Edit: there's also a thread from a few months ago where I talk about my success with a physiatrist. I'd post a link for you, but my internet is screwy right now and have trouble, well, doing anything online. Just search "physiatrist" if you're interested.
