How can he offer a warranty on what I assume is a re-flow job? It's not exactly gentle on the components, nor is it guaranteed to work in the first place. Re-flowing again may or may not work, so is he going to buy you a new PS3 if it fails and can't be repaired again under his warranty?

Not dissing the service offered, just thinking out loud that the warranty probably isn't very air tight.
