Was there a single smoker in here who actually defended the right to directly breathe smoke on people passing by? Seems to me that the smokers in the thread have just been defending the right to do what they please in a respectful way, and to be respected. It's the non-smokers making all the fuss.
Generally, I find casual smokers to be nicer, more social people, precisely because smoking seems to be one of the few things where near or complete strangers can still strike up random conversations. The militant non-smokers are almost always holier-than-thou pricks.
