In the wake of the announcement that Blockbuster is closing it's doors in Canada, I started to think about other businesses that I am continually amazed to see still open.

How in the hell have these guys stayed in business. They are a random mishmash of $5 electronics parts, RC cars, off brand electronics and digital clocks. They don't seem to have any competitive advantage. They don't compete on price, quality, selection, expertise...nothing. I think my whole befuddlement was accurately smmarized in this Onion article.

HMV
Has anyone been in an HMV lately? It's like a flea market in there! They sell some books, plush toys, candy and of course the near extinct CD. I'm surprised they have held on this long.
Anyways, what are some of the shops you guys walk by and say, "That Place is Still Open?"
