ok so, had the shop answered when you originally called to cancel and what if they had said "no, you can't cancel your order"
What would you have done? Pick up the cake, but late? Still get the other one?
Yea 80 calls is a jerk move. Sometimes Mom and Pop shops like to operate on "honor code" as a customer service thing. The type of thing you can' t get from the big bad corporations. You took advantage of their "honor code."
I'm sure you're a nice guy and all, but don't be a weenie and just pay for the cake. You ordered it. Regardless of crazy shop owner.
