As I posted above, the new jumbotron is in the game. Each NHL arena has got theirs updated. (including implementing the Consol Energy Center for the Pittsburgh Penguins) Of note though, there is a surprising amount of arenas absent of the actual arenas names. (Chicago is named Chicago Stadium rather then United Center, Sharks and Bruins still don't have real life names)

Stick lifts effectiveness has been reduced since it's not automatic puck retrieval anymore. Skating speed and momentum seems to have more importance. I've been able to attempt to drive the net better if I have a bit more of a step on the defender I've found. This is especially apparent on hardcore play style. Goalies on initial impressions are more aggressive at going after loose pucks in front of them.

The difference between the demo and the game isn't night and day to me. It seems subtle tweaks have been done, but nothing huge. I didn't play too much hardcore play style in the demo though, so playing it in the retail version makes a big difference in terms of how the game plays.
