I agree, and I bought the special addition DVD that came with the unaltered trilogy. Some people don't seem to understand that there is a huge difference with improving the visual and sound quality of the film and blatantly changing #### in the process. I want the original trilogy on Blu-Ray but I want Lucas' new changes left out. That DVD release was a pretty lame attempt to appeal to the fans but at least I have a copy of the films.

I respect that they're his films and he has some sort of vision he wants to achieve by reworking the originals but what I cannot seem to grasp is his refusal to release the unaltered films with the audio and visual enhancements. It seems like every other director who creates a "directors cut" at least releases the unaltered version as well. Colour me disappointed... again.
