Flyers 2 Flames 1

The Calgary Flames, all high and mighty..or so they think, got taught that you cant take any team for granted in the CPHL.

Flames woke up wednesday morning and realized that they had just been shown that you have to show up for 60 minutes to win a hockey game.
Cudos to the Flyers for showing the Flames how to play hockey.

Nobody but Richard Zednick showed up for this game, making him by far the most important recent acquisition by the Flames. "Seems like Zeds wants some first line ice time and thats exactly what he is going to get", said GM Axmann. The next game is against the Lightening, another team that has just dropped a highly rated team in the Pens.

Zednick had this to say, "We have to take it one game at a time. I'm just here to do this best I can and hope I can help the team win. Lord willing, all things will work out good if we do all the right things".

After the Lightening, the Flames take on that Mickey Mouse organization in Jersey! Maybe Sylvanfan can talk Gretzky into coming out of retirement for that game.
