No one could stop me. In ME2, you never really are "the best", you get your ass handed to you constantly.

I'm not arguing over difficulty, if they want to make the game as hard as they possibly can (ME2) then go ahead, I enjoy the challenge.

A few points about ME2 that were stupid were:
- no exp from enemies, only mission ends (really??)
- lvl 30 cap
- essentially having no skills, comes from a low lvl cap
- NG+ was stripped and really had no point, all you got were minerals and money
- weapon choice, there were basically 4-5 of each weapon in the game, that's it
- only 1 ability of the time (still like this in ME3 and it isn't as bothersome anymore, but it all goes back to no skills in the game)

I like ME2 more than I do the first one, it is an awesome game and is one of the best 360 games.
that's way more weapons than there was in the first game, which was simply 4. every gun you found was a simple stat boost for an existing weapon, as they all performed in the exact same way. but different sniper rifles or combat rifles performed quite differently in ME2 which was a nice change

i do agree about the level cap and lack of skills though, which i hope they change. what i would like to see is them simply continue your character from ME2 and have ME3's level cap go from 30 to 60. they can't "kill" off Shepherd again so making your character start at level 0 with no skills would seem pretty silly
