Oil go five in a row with a 2-1 victory over Bruins.
Once again the oil got the boring road in gear lolling the Bruins to sleep with our dump and chase philosophy. The last meeting between last years Stanley Cup finalists saw Kolzig as the game star in a 4 – 1 Bruins win, tonight it was Brodeur grabbing the game star and the victory.
Hossa recorded his thirty-third on the season and Samsonov nets the winner notching his thirty-second. Joel Andresen did suit up once again; playing eight minutes against the Stanley cup champs and created a good scoring opportunity late in the third when his quick shot caught Kolzig off guard, producing a huge rebound for Jeff Carter.
The Oil flew out of Boston immediately following the game to get home and prepare for the Islanders tomorrow night for our fourth game in as many nights.
