It's filtered. Sorta.
But ya, it's pretty gross. It has never gotten much attention until this past year. Suddenly it's a really big issue, THE issue in our riding. It's even more bizarre considering our MP for the last decade+ was the United Nations environment guy.
It's kind of funny though. There is an organization out here called POOP - People Opposed to Outflow Pollution. Their mascot who participates in the local parades is named "Mr. Floatie" and he is just a big piece of ****. The annual parade in my municipality goes right by my house and I see these little kids just loving Mr. Floatie like he's Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, clueless to the fact he's a six foot piece of ****. Quite funny.
