We could reduce the draft time to a 6 hours instead of the whole day. We could also do something like skip a person and when its their turn to draft again they can select however many outstanding picks they have, but only on their turn.

That'd make sense if this was a competitive thing like a hockey pool, but it defeats the intention of this if a team is weakened from the process itself.
