Another option may be to check out Kijiji for some big savings. I bought a 1.5 year old Toshiba 55" 240Hz LED for $950 and it was in absolutely gorgeous condition with 2.5 years left on warranty. I'm sure you could find a good 40"-50" for well under $600.
