The thing is that I don't think Lind is having an off year per se. If you average out his production from the last three seasons, you'd end up with what you're getting this season less a bit in the batting average.

Although I think the offence the Jays have is good enough, they need to get more pitching. The Rays offence is nothing great, but they're still a fair ways ahead of the Jays right now thanks to their pitching. Mind you even the Jays offence and Tampa's pitching probably still can't keep up with Boston or New York.
