I dont see the point of a touchline ban. But either way, they seem like a ridiculous method of enforcement of....what? What are they enforcing? He got it initially for criticising referees so they dont let him on the pitch? Okay, so who cares if hes phoning the coach to make substitutions? Just keep him away from the officials then.
Unless hes tapping into the referee's little headset and trying to con him into making calls I dont get the point.
