I think you should change your bet to feet first, there's no way that he leaves Libya alive. He's now political dynamite for any country that accepts him because there will be tremendous pressure by the International Courts to try him, there will be tremendous pressure by any new government in Libya to try him.
He's got no leverage and nothing to negotiate with. I think the likely end is similar to Saddam, the rebels are going to tear him out of his compound, tie a rope around his feet, haul him up a light standard and slit him from throat to groin.
