i don't tune in anymore because Conan either refuses or is too afraid to stray from the traditional late night format. Stewart and Colbert succeed because they keep things fresh, where Conan goes through the same routines re-using many jokes in his monologue, has the same boring celebrity interviews (while Stewart and Colbert interview many very interesting non-celebrities), and he lost his best bits from his Late Night show and can't seem to come up with new ones
the best Conan has ever been was during the writers strike (because he was forced to change things up) and during the last week of The Tonight Show (because he didn't care what anyone thought anymore). if i could watch a show with that Conan hosting i'd tune in every night
