I've met Regehr a few times, one of his old friends from Sask was the manager of the Back Alley, who happened to be dating a good friend of mine. Complicated...had a few shots at the bar with RR, he doesn't have much to say. Not an ass, just a quiet guy. He even wore a mullet wig out once so he wouldn't be as recognizable! Probably one of those that comes off as a jerk but is the nicest guy when you get to know him.
You know who definitely IS an ass though, Neon Dion. What an absolute chump. Saw him at the Stampede a few years ago, made the "mistake" of using his first name...Even after I said I was a huge fan, he says "Do I know you? Then don't talk to me like we're buddies". (I said something along the lines of "Dion! I'm a big fan man, good to see you out here partying"). Any guy that belittles his own fans like that, is a complete and total ass in my books.
