I think leadership is the most important thing a QB has to have. If the players on the team believe in the guy, and want to play for him. If a QB doesn't have that, you can throw the rest of his skills out the window.

Marty Schottenheimer once commented about how he had Jeff George in Washington who was far more talented, and a much better individual player than Gus Ferotte. He had to play Ferotte though because he couldn't win with Jeff George. The guys in his locker room would bust their balls for Ferotte, for Jeff George they'd mail it in.
