Contrary to popular belief, the bridge was not conceived of, nor driven by Druh Farrell. It was the former General Manager of Transportation. Farrell supported its construction, and it is within her ward, but a majority of Council including Bronconnier voted in favour of it.

As for the Canadian Forces, God bless them and they should have a structure in Calgary built in their name. That is intended to be in their honor and not some u turn that Farrel and her other bandits name after the fact.
If city council wants to convince Calgarians that this bridge is named in honor of the Canadian Forces and was from the beginning have the balls to paint the beams camouflaged. |
