Wild Win Tender Duel
Has The Dominator returned to form.
The Wild #1 goalie has struggled in recent weeks as his GAA and SVP have both suffered, leading to a number of Wild losses.
But on Sunday afternoon Hasek was the biggest factor in the Wild's 2-1 victory over a gritty Kings team.
Mats Sundin scored his 2nd goal in as many games for the Wild, and Petr Sykora notched his 4th of the season to account for the Wild scoring. And Wild pressed for more in the third period, but could not beat Martin Prusek despite firing 14 shots at him in the third.
Despite not scoring in the final frame Farhall said he was most pleased with the team's approach in the third.
"We've tended to sit back on leads to much. So to come out and outshoot the Kings 14-3 in the the third is a veyr positive sign for us.".
