Sharks Bite Senators (again!)
For the second time in a week the Sharks have put the bite on the Sens! 7 days after losing to the Sharks at home 1-0 the Sens came west to face some more of the same. Once again losing by a goal, this time 5-4, the frustrated Sens go away feeling like the Sharks have their number (we do! It's 1-800 U-LOSERS!).
The Sharks chased #1 keeper Turco out of the game with 5 goals in just 13 shots. Turco was last seen weeping in the Sens locker-room. "Why are these guys picking on me? Where's the love?", he said between sobs.
Newcomers Jason Wiemer (1g 1a), Robert Nilsson (2A +2), and Petr Vrana (1A +2) all played prominent roles. Rookie Jerred Smithson also played well (1g 1A) as did Milan Kraft (1G 1A +2), who is being looked at as a leader now on this very young team.
Sharks continued there habit of playing up to the level of their opponents. Sharks are 9-13-2-0-3 versus the top 16 teams and 7-16-3-0-1 against the bottom 16!
