I haven't heard anything since about any of the proposals that were received or how they're progressing.
Also, where do things stand with the new stadium in Regina? I thought it had slowed down when the federal government declared there would no federal funding for the construction of sports facilities.

From what I know the plans for Regina's stadium are still a little bit up in the air but more with regards to what will be done, not whether or not something will be done.
Right now the old CP rail yard off Dewdney, right along that strip with the bars and stuff, is the most likely candidate for a new outdoor stadium.
There is the possibility that they will just renovate Taylor field but that isn't very popular with anyone. A completely new stadium isn't popular with some of the province either but I don't think anybody wants to renovate. That stadium is too far gone. Although I would have said the same about Ivor Wynn.
All I know for certain is that the $400m indoor facility with hotels and stuff is pretty much dead.
