Kings Downed Up North
Minneapolis, MN - The Los Angeles Kings were handed a 2-1 loss today in a weekend matinee at the Excel Energy Center. In what was basically an uneventful game, the Kings were outshot by a wide margin 38-24. The only Kings marker came in the first period from Marian Gaborik. Martin Prusek put in a valiant effort allowing only two goals on the barrage of rubber that was thrown his way.
