Hmmm just out of curiosity, I was wondering where you might have got these stats above. I'm not saying that you are wrong, I'm just wondering.
I've seen the ones from statscan that has Calgary at $88,410 in 2009:

A 40% increase across the board for everybody in the city in just a year seems a little high to me (not saying that it isn't what I got though . . .
)
Hmmm perhaps they are piling multiple familes in a "household" for those numbers?
