And the acc and big east Amit they are tier 2 and some of the top teams in each make up an Atlantic 16. Such as bc, west Virginia, Virginia, Miami, uconn, Nc state, Va teck, s Florida, wake forest, Cincy, lousiville, Pitt, Nor Carolina, g tech, hmmm and 2 others

No other major conference will take Texas because of their TV contract. They will have to go independent in football and find a conference to take their other sports. Although I guess they might be able to pull off being independent in basketball. If Texas goes independent in football they will be raking in the dough. Their contract with ESPN states that when ESPN reach the ~$300 million in revenue that they paid UT then UT gets 70% of all revenue. If LHN showed almost all the UT games then they would get to that $300 million pretty quickly.
