Chances are it is a plugin that is causing the problem. Easiest thing to do is to remove your addons and complete the following to reset your IE settings.

IN Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Advanced tab --> Under Reset Internet Explorer Options, Click Reset.

Either that, or use a real browser

edit: Or if you are using Vista or Windows 7, upgrade to IE 9 would essentially do the same thing and get you a browser that sucks a little less.
