Speaking of kids these days, I just got back from Europe. My girlfriend coaches gymnastics and 2 of her kids, 16 and 17, stayed after the competition to see some of Europe for a couple weeks. We were taking care of them as a favor to their parents who didn't have the means to go. The worst thing that could have happened is all the apartments we stayed in had Wifi. These kids would skip seeing some amazing sites so they could sit there online by themselves dicking around on facebook. Why'd try get everyone to hang out at night, but it was impossible to play a game without them getting lost off on their iPads at the table. It was brutal. I'm certain they'll regret it looking back. I hope so at least. Sure maybe they didn't feel like climbing another hill to see another monument or view point, but I bet they would have been happy about it after the fact. Who knows if they'll get a chance to go back.
