Around Calgary...there's nothing that great in the immediate area.
Ghost Lake is cold, but very close. I never go there so I'm not sure how busy it is.
Invermere, BC is about 2 hours, 45 mins from Calgary and is an awesome place.
I've heard of Buffalo Lake, AB or something like that though I don't know anything about it.
